ABOUT THIS VEHICLE
The Toyota Century is an executive car for company and government officials in Japan. It is the top level executive luxury flagship Japanese car in Japan. Mostly used by the president, diplomats, governors, and other high ranking government officials and a few wealthy private owners who are comfortable with the yearly road tax bill. In Japan, a vehicles annual taxes/registration are based off vehicle engine size, this is why most Japanese cars are 3 cylinder or 4 cylinder…, So having a V12 engine in Japan is only for the super rich people of Japan. When new, this car retailed for more than $150,000. Some of these come with bulletproof doors and glass (but this not a bulletproof one) the price would be a lot higher if it was!!! The Century is the first and only Japanese front-engine, rear-wheel-drive production car equipped with a V12, and it is Toyota’s first V12 engine.

Simply put, this is the Maybach or Rolls-Royce of Japan. For luxury there was no expense spared. The car has air suspension, even the seats have air bags inside them. Feels like you are floating on a cloud!! And the engine is not audible inside the car and there are no vibrations. It is very easy to forget that the car is running!! The rear seats are reclinable, heated/cooled, and have massager… Driving this beast is great, but it’s even better in the back seat!!!!!

This model ran for 20 years, from 1996 to the end of production in 2016, in which 9,573 Centurie’s were built. While we are not sure of the exact yearly production numbers, that is an approximate yearly production average of 476 Century’s built per year.
