About Toyota
Toyota Motor Corporation was founded on 28 August 1937. The Celsior went on sale in Japan on 9 October 1989. The Celica XX was renamed Supra in Japan in February 1986, and the A80 Supra launched there on 24 May 1993; its twin-turbo 2JZ-GTE is rated at 280 PS. The MR2 went on sale in Japan on 8 June 1984 and Toyota's release describes it as Japan's first two-seat, mid-engine personal car. The eighth-generation Crown was released on 1 September 1987. The Land Cruiser 40 series went on sale in Japan in August 1960, and the fourth-generation HiAce was released on 24 August 1989.
