Frequently asked questions

What countries are buyers in?

Buyer demand spans the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and several other markets. The majority of active inquiries originate from North America and Oceania. Country-of-origin breakdown shifts over time and is not guaranteed for any listing.

Do I need to verify my identity to list as a dealer?

Yes. Phone verification is required for all sellers. For the verified-dealer badge, additional steps apply: your business website is reviewed, a Google Business Profile match is confirmed, and your account must have no open trust flags at the time of approval.

How long does approval take?

Dealer applications are reviewed within 1–2 business days. You will receive an email notification when your application status changes. If additional information is needed, the team will reach out via email.

Can I start with manual listings and switch to a feed later?

Yes. Manual and feed-based listing are not mutually exclusive. You can post cars through /sell/ from day one, and request feed ingestion setup at any point after your account is approved. Switching does not affect existing listings.

What happens if I already have an unverified seller account — do I need a new one?

No. Apply from your existing account via the dealer application in your profile settings. Your current listings transfer to the dealer account and the unverified-seller display is replaced with the dealer card once the application is approved.

Is there a listing fee, commission, or buyer's premium?

No. There is no listing fee, commission, or buyer's premium. The same zero-fees terms that apply to private sellers apply to dealers.
