Yes. Private-party listings are free. No listing fee, no duration upcharge, no commission, no buyer's premium, no middleman. You set the price; the buyer pays it; you keep the full sale price. Dealer accounts (high-volume sellers) follow a separate verification path with the same free-listing terms.
Listings are indexed on Google and reach the site's existing audience of JDM-specific buyers. Active inventory is concentrated in the United States, Japan, Canada, and Australia, with smaller volumes in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The site sees over 100,000 JDM-specific buyer visits a month.
90 days by default. You can renew, mark as sold, or take the listing down at any time from your dashboard. Sold listings stay indexed (with a SOLD badge) so price comps remain useful for the chassis-page market data other buyers and sellers use.
Yes. Dealers, importers, and exporters can request automated daily feed ingest in CSV, XML, or JSON. Apply for a dealer account from your profile page and include your feed URL — we review each request and follow up once it's processed. Approved dealers also get a verified-dealer badge, a public directory entry at /dealers/, a dashboard with lead inbox, and access to CSV bulk upload. We work with importers and exporters in 6+ countries.
KeySavvy is a third-party escrow and title-verification service for US private-party car sales. It is optional and applies to private-party transactions inside the United States. International or dealer-to-buyer transactions are handled directly between the parties.
BaT and Cars & Bids are auction marketplaces with curation, a listing fee or package price, and a buyer's premium that the winning bidder pays on top of the hammer price. JDMBUYSELL is a classified marketplace — fixed-price or asking-price listings, no auction window, no curation gating, no listing fee, and no buyer's premium. Listings with at least 6 photos tend to draw more inquiries than listings with the minimum 3. A clean exterior 3/4 shot as the hero photo, plus interior, engine bay, wheels, and at least one undercarriage or rust-check photo, covers what most JDM buyers want to see before reaching out.
Phone verification (one-time SMS code) is required before publishing the first listing. It cuts down on spam listings and lets buyers contact you if email goes unanswered. The number is never shown publicly.
