How to promote your listing

Create your listing
Post your JDM car for free at jdmbuysell.com/sell/. Fill in vehicle details, photos, price, and contact info. Listings go live after a quick moderation pass — typically within 30 minutes.

Open Promote from your Listings
On your Listings page, find the listing you want to promote and choose Promote. You can also pick a listing on Promotions. You'll be taken to the tier-selection page.

Choose a tier and complete checkout
Pick the tier that fits your goal and budget. Checkout is handled by Stripe — secure, one-time payment. Placement activates immediately after payment clears.
Why promote your listing?
Homepage placement
Your listing is pinned in the Featured grid at the top of the JDMBUYSELL homepage — the highest-traffic page on the site, where buyers land first.
Top of category
Your ad appears above all organic results on the relevant make and model category page, so buyers already filtered by vehicle type see it first.
Facebook Ads
The Top Dollar tier runs a 10-day Facebook Ads campaign for your listing, targeting JDM enthusiasts by interest and geography.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I promote more than one listing?
- Yes. Each listing is promoted on its own. Open Promote from any active listing on your Listings page, or pick one on Promotions, and choose a tier.
- Can I move a promotion to a different listing?
- No. Each promotion is tied to the specific listing you selected at checkout. It cannot be moved or applied to a different vehicle.
- What if my listing sells before the promotion ends?
- The promotion runs its full scheduled duration regardless. If you mark your listing as sold the placement slots are automatically released, but no refund is issued for the remaining window.
- Do I need an account to promote a listing?
- Yes — a free account is required to post and manage listings. Creating one takes under two minutes and gives you access to the full seller dashboard.
- When does the promotion start?
- Placement activates immediately after your Stripe payment clears — your homepage and category pins are live within seconds.
