Mazda Motor Corporation was founded in 1920 in Hiroshima. It is the only manufacturer to have produced the Wankel rotary in mass-market vehicles. The RX-7 across three generations (SA22C, FC3S, FD3S) is the primary rotary export; the FD3S's 13B-REW twin-rotor twin-turbo produced 255 PS in JDM spec. The RX-8 uses the naturally-aspirated side-port Renesis 13B-MSP. The piston-engine portfolio covers the Autozam AZ-1 mid-engine kei coupe, Bongo van, Cosmo sport-luxury, and the Roadster (Miata, NA through ND) in JDM spec.
