The Nissan Skyline has been in continuous production since 1957, making it one of the longest-running nameplates in Japanese automotive history. Modern collector interest centers on the KGC10/KPGC10 Hakosuka (1968-1972), which introduced the GT-R nameplate in Group 4 racing; the DR30 Iron Mask (1981-1985), the first turbocharged Skyline; and the R-series (R32 through R34, 1989-2002), which defined the current GT-R globally.
