About Nissan
Nissan Motor Co. was founded in 1933 (originally Jidosha-Seizo Co.). The JDM lineup splits between performance cars and commercial vehicles. The Skyline nameplate ran from 1957 and produced the GT-R in three chassis (R32, R33, R34), each on the RB26DETT twin-turbo straight-six and ATTESA E-TS AWD. The Silvia (S13 through S15) is the lightweight FR coupe Keiichi Tsuchiya and the early D1 grid drifted; the SR20DET turbocharged four is the platform engine. The Fairlady Z is Nissan's sports-coupe line (S30 through Z34). Commercial JDM-market models Caravan, Safari, and Terrano clear US 25-year eligibility on rolling dates and trade as overland and farm vehicles.
