Lexus IS listings represent the Japan-domestic Lexus-badged generation: the XE20 (2005-2013), covering IS 250 (GSE20, 4GR-FSE 2.5L V6) and IS 350 (GSE21, 2GR-FSE 3.5L V6). Lexus as a retail brand launched in Japan in August 2005, replacing the Toyota Altezza nameplate — pre-2005 JDM equivalent listings appear under Altezza. The IS 250 was available with a six-speed manual in rear-wheel-drive trim.
