ctory optional aero kit, an OEM rear hatch spoiler, OEM rainguards, and an optional rear bumper protector. HKS coilovers snug up the gap between the 17′′ Eura Black alloys and fenders, giving this turbo tourer some handling to match the sporty aesthetic. Also appealing are the 103k verified and documented miles on the clock, which indicate this wonderful wagon is barely broken in. Whether you’re shuttling the kids to school or hauling the homies to a motorsports event, this Crown Estate is fun, functional, and fast! Toyota designed the Crown to fit into their luxury lineup, and it’s easy to trace this wagon’s lineage as a premium transporter once you step inside. It’s comfortable, with plush upholstered seats akin to couch cushions, and a full slate of tech that feels decently modern. It’s also a safe place to cruise, with dual front and side SRS airbags, and power-adjustable seating accommodating passengers of all shapes and sizes. The driver can also make the most of a manually adjustable tilt and telescoping steering column to maximize comfort. Power windows, locks, and electronic folding side mirrors aid accessibility, and keyless entry makes cabin access easier. The center stack frames a simple to use digital climate control unit, and an adjacent AddZest head unit that looks period correct. In true Toyota fashion, cold A/C and hot heat work like a charm, and the climate control is easy to command. Your rear passengers have it made, with power seatbacks, and if you need to catch a snooze, the seats fold into a flat surface where you can easily stuff in a mattress. The trunk is spacious too, and overall the interior materials are in above average condition, as the previous owner was kind enough to keep the seats covered. Sadly, the seat covers have done their time, but the cloth upholstery underneath is clean and devoid of unwanted cosmetic defects. The headliner is tidy, and the carpets are free of unwanted spills or stains. Turn key, fully functional, and ready to roll, this cabin keeps impressing, day in and day out, and we even held onto the original maintenance booklet and owner’s manual to preserve this Crown’s history! During the new millennium, Toyota was engineering some seriously heavy-hitting powerplants, and this Crown’s 1JZ-GTE is no exception. Fresh off a recent service, this I-6 is punchy, responsive, and easy to turn a wrench on for most shadetree mechanics. Our trained technicians made quick work of getting this one road-ready, starting with a new 12v battery we tossed in to aid ignition. We wired up a new fuel pump and performed an oil and filter service to get you on track for future maintenance intervals. A new oil pan gasket keeps lubricant from seeping out, and a new engine air filter and VVT-i solenoid give this 2.5T a proper tune-up. We installed a new thermostat to help the 1JZ get up to temp, and also flushed out new coolant while we were in there. Lastly, a new serpentine belt was installed. Unassuming in stock form, this Crown rips under full throttle, and a slick shifting automatic gearbox shoots power rearward. We replaced the rear differential input seal to shore up the drivetrain, and this long wheelbase estate cruises comfortably and predictably. The HKS suspension delivers a responsive ride without being overly jarring, and the power steering is direct and easy to maneuver. The ABS brakes grab with authority, and to help this Toyota ace state safety inspection, we replaced the right inner tie rod. Brand new tires were mounted on all four corners, and lastly, we aligned this wagon to factory specs to keep you tracking straight for the immediate future.
