About Nissan

Nissan Motor Company was established on 26 December 1933. The eighth-generation Skyline main range was introduced in May 1989, and the GT-R name returned after a 16-year absence with the 2,568 cc twin-turbo RB26DETT, rated at 280 PS. The R33 GT-R launched in January 1995. The Silvia S12 was launched on 23 August 1983 and succeeded by the S13, introduced on 17 May 1988. The first Fairlady Z, the S30, was announced in October 1969 and launched in November that year, according to Nissan's Z-T page; another Nissan page says December 1969. The second-generation Stagea went on sale nationwide on 16 October 2001, and Nissan dates the Japanese Safari 160 launch to June 1980.
