t Amethyst Pearl (3P6). Lightly modified in Japan, this UZZ40 is set off by 19′′ Eurohart wheels, and a lowering kit to close up any unwanted wheel gap. Save for a few scuffs, dings, and swirls in the paint, this terrific grand tourer shows exceptionally well and commands plenty of attention. Best of all, the 79k on the clock are verified and documented to boot. With subtle, VIP styling cues and a driving experience second to none, this is a special Japanese Classic that keeps getting better with age! Fashioned in premium black leather with real wood accents, it’s easy to see that Toyota engineered this cockpit to punch far above its weight. The styling is handsome, accessible, and remarkably modern compared to current vehicles. The upholstery lacks any major damage outside of some typical stress cracking and a peel on the side of the driver’s bolster. Overall, the cowhides are in good shape, and the same can be said for the condition of the leather wrapped, power-adjustable steering wheel. The driver can tilt or telescope the column at will, and cruise control is operable too. To get more comfortable behind the wheel, power adjustable seats are heated, too, and power windows, locks, and electric folding side mirrors make daily use easy. An OEM keyless entry remote is paired, to make entry and exit seamless. The cabin is a safe place for your and your passengers, thanks to the inclusion of dual front and side airbags. The OEM audio is easy to operate and fills the cabin with tunes. The adjacent digital automatic climate control is easy to operate, with cold A/C or hot heat on standby. For warmer months, a top-down experience can easily be had at the press of a button. The trunk opens up to reveal a surprisingly large storage compartment, including a spare tire and a tool kit. The original owner’s manual and maintenance booklet are also on hand. The 4.3l V8 under the hood is smooth, powerful, and everything you’d want to propel a luxury sled. Our trained technicians got this one under the knife for some beneficial preventative maintenance, and this Soarer is a treat to drive. The 3UZ-FE cranks over with haste, care of a new 12v battery, and a new alternator was installed to keep it properly charged. A new engine air filter keeps contaminants out of your combustion chamber, and we’ve done some more labor intensive services to make the most out of our fresh oil and filter service, too. New valve cover gaskets were installed, and we replaced all eight spark plugs while our technician was getting his hands dirty. Equipped with VVT-i, this Soarer has no issues getting up to and above highway speeds, and a 5 speed automatic gearbox maximizes efficiency throughout the powerband. Power is sent straight to the rear wheels, and this droptop is plenty stable even when pummeling down the freeway. We thoroughly refreshed the suspension with new front and rear shocks, and replaced the front lower ball joints, front lower control arms, and front tension arms to dial in handling. The power steering rack was bolstered with new inner and outer tie rods, and a fresh alignment was performed to make the most of our reconditioning.
