Description

We don't want anyone to feel left out, so models like this one-owner 1999 GT are ideal. They're reliable, sporty, and easy to service, with a fan favorite RB25 powerplant. The R34 is the textbook definition of a Japanese Classic. Not everyone can afford a GTR, nor can they justify a two-door GTT. We don’t want anyone to feel left out, so models like this one-owner 1999 GT are ideal. They’re reliable, sporty, and easy to service, with a fan favorite RB25 powerplant. This Sonic Silver (KR4) sedan is stylish too, and is set off by an OEM optional rear wing, optional side skirts and rear spats, an

d a sleek set of factory rainguards. Save for a couple paint imperfections, stone chips, and dings, the cosmetics are factory fresh overall, and in above average shape. With 84k verified and documented miles on the ticker, she’s barely broken in, as we’ve seen this chassis crest well above the 200k mark and still run like a champ. Ideal for shuttling around friends and family, this would also be a great starting point for a build, if you want to keep it simple and avoid any unknowns. For that reason, we think this R34 is an underdog that shouldn’t be overlooked! The interior is simple in design, and sometimes that’s a good thing. Nissan prioritized quality materials over excessive bells and whistles. Everything is in terrific shape from the sport mesh upholstery to the hard plastics surrounding the dash. The center stack is easily accessible, and frames OEM audio and digital automatic climate control. Both work as advertised, with the former doling out cold A/C and hot heat on command. The dash cover is free of unwanted cracking, fading, or distortion, and houses dual SRS airbags for peace of mind. Additional power equipment includes power windows, power locks, kyless entry and the side mirrors can electronically fold for squeezing into tight parking garages. The headliner is taut against the roof and the carpets beneath are protected by a set of tidy factory floor mats. Grey sport mesh upholstery spans the whole cabin and has resisted any major wear and tear. Cared for overseas, and only succumbing to a few light headliner stains, we feel the American buyer will be impressed with the interior! The RB25DE is a prolific engine. Efficient, and easy to modify and maintain, it’s easy to see why enthusiasts flock to these punchy inline sixes. This R34 was fully serviced here at our facility, and is ripe and ready to daily drive from day one. For starters, we chucked in a new 12v battery. We sealed everything up with new valve cover gaskets up top, too. Six new spark plugs give this 2.5 a bit of a tune up, and it benefits from an oil and filter service, as well as a new engine air filter and fuel filter. With the maintenance performed, it tackled its first road test like a champ. An automatic gearbox feeds power straight to the rear wheels and commands shifts effectively. The suspension benefits from a set of new aftermarket coilovers, which maintain a comfortable ride quality for those looking to shuttle passengers. We also installed new front tension rods so it would ace state safety inspection. For fans of preventative maintenance, we’ve tackled a hefty drivetrain repair by rebuilding the steering rack with new seals. We threw everything together with new inner and outer tie rods, flushed in new fluid, and replaced the rack boots and bushings for good measure. The steering is light and on point now, and this R34 can come to an abrupt halt thanks to new rear pads and rotors, and new front brake pads. Equipped with factory ABS, they work in conjunction with the Kumho summer tires to keep handling direct. With the maintenance performed you’ll be dead set to track straight for miles and miles to come!
