Now into its tenth iteration, this turbocharged 1998 Skyline is a modern car through and through. Powered by a punchy turbo inline six and underpinned by a balanced, rear-drive architecture, this sweet sedan drives like a dream. Finished in Nissan’s lovely White (QM1), this R34 is set off by OEM six-spoke OEM alloys and a set of OEM rainguards. Aside from a few light chips, scuffs, and scrapes the paint in is good shape and this sports saloon is fresh off a recent

service. Offered with only 78k verified and documented miles on the clock, this baby is hardly broken in. Perfect as a daily driver, fun family shuttle, or as a cool weekend cruiser, this Japanese Classic is an all around decent performer. Reliable, fun, and collectible, this splendid Skyline can be yours today! The cabin is spacious and nicely equipped. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column to find the ideal driving position and dual SRS front airbags are standard. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and the center stack is close by and within arm’s reach. A digital automatic climate system doles out piping hot heat and cold A/C and the OEM audio below functions, too. The seats are trimmed in a gray and black cloth. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and are in good nick. To make daily driving more enjoyable power folding mirrors, power windows, and electric locks all work like a charm. Additionally, the OEM keyless entry also works as it should. The door cards, headliner, and carpets have also faired well over the past 25 years, and it is clear this sedan was cared for in a prior life. Thats not to say everything is perfect as we did want to note that OEM infotainment screen no longer flips up out of the dash. Still, that’s a bit of nitpicking and the cabin is in good shape otherwise. Also included with the purchase are the factory manuals, maintenance booklets and two spare keys, stowed away securely in the large factory glovebox. This chassis is a gem and the same can be said for the RB25DET NEO engine propelling this ride. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 2.5L churns to life with the twist of the key. A new engine air filter helps the RB to breathe freely and fuel is atomized efficiently thanks to six new spark plugs. To keep all that fresh oil topped up, one of our trained technicians replaced the half-moon seals and valve cover gaskets. The torquey 2.5L is linked to a stout automatic gearbox and feeds power to the rear wheels. The auto shifts properly and has a manual mode with steering wheel shifter buttons. It accelerates impressively and slows down just as well, with its large anti-lock brakes. The suspension is predictable and connected, and is more than capable of handling the rigors of daily use and abuse. For state inspection, a front left outer tie rod was installed and a fresh alignment was performed. The power steering is direct and communicative and this Series 1 goes right where you point it. Riding on new rubber at all four corners this sedan translates little road noise through the cabin and the tires will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
