Ideal as a weekend trail cruiser or do-it-all around town hauler, this collectible Japanese Classic is a great truck inside and out! The Land Cruiser 80 is beloved for its tenacity on and off road, and sublime ease of service. The 1HD-FTE under the bonnet is no different, and while it was never offered to our US market we’ve had nothing but good experiences with this revised 24 valve turbocharged I6! Our trained technicians have also given this one a comprehensive recent service and green light for the road ahead, starting with 2 new 12v batteries that were installed to aid ignition. From there, we installed all new serpentine belts to drive your accessories, as well as a new valve cover gasket to keep all lubricant from the oil and filter service internal. We took care of a new fuel filter too, to get you on track for future maintenance schedules. This turbodiesel runs like a top and has no issues cruising around town or on the highway. The 80 series’ legendary full time 4WD is on full display, with low gearing and a center locking differential for when the going really gets tough. To eliminate any unwanted slop in the drivetrain, we installed new axles up front and this 4×4 cruises like a dream. The suspension is soft yet compliant over larger road imperfections, and the brakes can handle abrupt stops like a champ. The BERG alloys look nearly OEM and are wrapped in brand new Yokohama Geolanders. Quality rubber for a quality truck, they’ll deliver tens of thousands of miles of unencumbered grip for the future!
