About Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation was established on 22 April 1970. The Lancer Evolution was released in Japan in October 1992 with a 4G63 2.0-litre intercooled turbo engine and full-time 4WD, rated at 250 PS. The Evolution II went on sale in January 1994 at 260 PS, and the Evolution III followed in February 1995 at 270 PS. The first-generation Pajero went on sale in Japan in May 1982 in metal-top and canvas-top bodies. Mitsubishi calls June 1986 the third full model change of the Delica series, the first in seven years. The Delica Space Gear launched in 1994 as the fourth-generation Delica, and its 4WD model used the Super Select 4WD driveline, which Mitsubishi describes as popular on the Pajero.
