Lexus GS listings represent Japan-domestic examples from the S160 (JZS160/JZS161, 1997-2005, Toyota Aristo platform) and S190 (2005-2011) generations. The S160 in Japan was badged as the Toyota Aristo until the Lexus retail launch in August 2005 — earlier JDM Aristo listings appear under Aristo. The S190 (GS 300/350/430/450h) was the first GS sold under the Lexus nameplate in Japan.
