Description

Aesthetically, this is perhaps the most imposing Land Cruiser J100 we have sold. It's got fender flares so wide you'd think it was imported out of Iceland, and wide, dished Bradley Off Road wheels to fill them up. mere 91k verified and documented miles on the clock. This Japanese Classic would make for a delectable dedicated overlander, marvelous mall crawler, or fun family hauler. Reliable, safe, and refined vehicles normally aren’t this cool, and we feel this terrific Toyota deserves its flowers! The cabin is spacious, well-appointed, and filled with premium materials. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and dual SRS airbags are standard equipment. It has a few OEM upgrades, like the expansive power moonroof that unfurls with the press of a button. The touchscreen audio is also an upgrade from a newer Toyota, and it works like a charm. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and electric adjustable lumbar support to find the ideal seating position. Power windows, locks, cruise control, and electric mirrors all function, making daily use more enjoyable. The tan cloth upholstery is in good nick and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The rear bench can slide forward, and tumble, to accommodate large cargo. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and dual SRS airbags are standard. The headliner, door cards, and carpets are in good shape, and even the OEM carpet mats are included with the purchase. Aside from the power folding mirror function not working and a mismatched gray passenger seat belt, it’s hard to nitpick the cabin at all. It even includes the owner’s manual for the new US buyer! The body on frame platform underpinning this beast is able to withstand lots of abuse. The same can be said for the powerplant, the 2UZ-FE. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the V8 springs to life with the twist of the key courtesy of a new 12V battery. Future fluid checks will be stress-free, as we replaced the bonnet shocks, and the exhaust is nice and mellow thanks to a new catback we installed. A new fuel filter and engine air filter were also chucked in as part of our tune-up. The V8 is linked to a stout automatic gearbox that feeds torque through a full-time 4WD system. A low-range and center locker can be engaged when heading off the pavement. It gets up to highway speeds without breaking a sweat and slows down with confidence with its large disc brakes and standard ABS. The long wheelbase distributes road imperfections well, and the active height control suspension provides a predictable ride. The power steering is light and on point. One of our trained techs has refurbished the systems completely. A steering rack rebuild was performed, and new fluid was flushed in. We also replaced the rack bushings and boots for good measure. A proper alignment was needed after, and we installed new inner and outer tie rods. The suspension was improved with new front lower ball joints and front sway bar bushings. The rear upper control arms and rear sway bar bushings were also replaced. Lastly, we wrapped the Bradleys in 37′′rubber. We then aligned it so that the new tires would last as long as possible. Turn key and ready to roll, this ridiculously cool Cruiser is the real deal!
