off a recent service, this Pearl White (057) example is offered with only 118k verified and documented miles on the ticker. Adorned by new 17×8.5 Method MR315 alloys, chrome mirror caps, an aggressive AIBA Works brushguard, OEM spare tire swingarm, OEM spoiler, and factory rainguards, the exterior is in good shape aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Ideal as a year-round driver, unique beach cruiser, or wicked weekend overlander this collectible and capable Japanese Classic is hard to beat! The cabin is expansive and in good shape overall. This one is well optioned, with its desirable third row stowable seats, which raise occupant capacity from five to eight. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and dual SRS airbags are standard equipment for those riding up front. Front occupants also benefit from heated seats, which will be ideal for the winter ahead. The centrally located infotainment screen also includes the radio and touchscreen climate controls. The integrated audio sounds decent, and the A/C and heat work like a charm. If you prefer more natural ventilation, a large power moonroof tilts and retracts, the electric windows power down, and the rear quarter glass pops outward. For those who plan to drive daily, the power locks, cruise control, and power folding mirrors work as they should. The tan upholstery is in above-average shape, and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The middle row can ascend forward, and the rear jump seats can be stowed against the d-pillar for maximum cargo space. The door cards, headliner, and carpet are in good shape, and aside from some light steering wheel wear, it’s hard to complain about the cabin. Body-on-frame and built to last, these trucks are awfully hard to kill. The same can be said about the V8 under the hood. The 2UZ-FE is fresh off an oil and filter service and whirs to life courtesy of a new 12v battery. So fluid checks would be stress-free, we installed new hood shocks, too. The 4.7L pulls hard to redline and is connected to a stout automatic gearbox. It sends power through a Full-Time 4WD system and a center locker, and a low-range 4WD can be put to use if the road conditions refuse to comply. It gets up to highway speeds with ease and is a comfortable cruiser on long trips. We sorted the suspension out with a few improvements. A new right front ball joint, rear lower sway bar bushings, panhard bar bushings, and rear upper and lower control arms were all replaced. We also added new inner axle boots. The brakes feel confident, and the power steering is light and easy to articulate. New 33′′ Falken tires were mounted and balanced at each corner. Freshly aligned, this Landy drives straight as an arrow, and the fresh all-terrain rubber should provide grip for tens of thousands of miles to come. This Land Cruiser has a lot going for it, unfortunately the ABS module has a fault that causes the light to illuminate constantly. This would be a great Cruiser to drive as-is, or get back to 100%!
