Description

This 2000 Crown Majesta features full K-Break Platinum aero, custom two-tone paint, and has a laundry list of services performed here at our shop for a true turn-key VIP experience! Japanese VIP cars are fun to build, easy to own, exciting to drive, and command attention everywhere they go. As we’re well into the 2020’s, they can also be pricey to build out, with rising costs on parts, shipping, and the inevitable import duty. This 2000 Crown Majesta mitigates those concerns, as it features full K-Break Platinum aero, custom two-tone paint, and has a laundry list of services performed here at

our shop for a true turn-key VIP experience! Finished in a one-off Deep Crimson metallic, K-Break FRP aero adorns the front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper. Gloss black accents set off the roof, K-Break grille, and aero inserts, and 326power coilovers help shore up the gap between the 19′′ WEDS Maverick alloys and the fender lip. The cosmetics are in good shape overall on the custom body kit, and OEM rainguards and a chrome license plate garnish round off the aesthetic. It’s worth noting that Japanese records note a previous front repair history, but that does little to take away from this Crown’s appeal. This 6 cylinder street car also boasts an impressive 67k miles on the clock, which indicates it was well cared for in a prior life, too. This Majesta is stunning, practical, and economical, all at once. In other words, we think it’s a real Japanese Classic! While the exterior is dressed to the nines, the interior is much different. Clean, well-kept factory cloth upholstery and woodgrain accents break up the factory color palette, and a host of power equipment is on hand to make daily use seamless. This includes power windows, locks, and side mirrors, which also electronically fold if you need to parallel park in the city. Both driver and passenger also benefit from power-adjustable seating, and the pilot can adjust a tilt steering column to their liking. Front and side curtain airbags are also present for a bit of added peace of mind on the road. The seats are upholstered in wool, and are free of major stains and tears to note, although there is a small hole in the driver’s seat bottom. The dash materials are soft to the touch, and a factory touch screen comprises most of the center stack. Integrating controls for OEM audio and climate adjustment, the screen is responsive, although the display has dulled over the years. The factory instrumentation is still clear, however, and a trick factory heads-up display offers a slick LCD readout atop the factory analog gauges for a bit of modernity. Hot heat is primed and ready to carry us through the remainder of winter, and cold A/C is on hand for springtime, and the factory oscillating climate vents keep the cabin supplemented with airflow evenly. The rear bench is spacious too, as is the trunk, if you need to lug around a few groceries or additional car parts. The headliner is plush and tidy, and the carpets are free of major dirt and debris thanks to an intact set of OEM mats. Overall, it’s hard to scrutinize the cabin, and even the factory carpet mats are on hand to protect your upholstery! Toyota put three dang good engine options in the S170 Crown, and the 2JZ-FSE is the most unique, and efficient to boot! To sweeten the deal, we’ve even installed new hood shocks to show off the powerplant. Fresh off a recent service, ours springs to life care of a new 12v battery, and a new valve cover gasket helps the fluid from our fresh oil and filter service stay internal to the engine. While the cover was off, we installed six new spark plugs to properly atomize your fuel. A new serpentine belt helps reliably drive your accessories, and with the maintenance performed, this 3.0 revs happily to redline. A 5-speed automatic gearbox puts power down to the rear wheels, and this Crown’s long wheelbase helps it stay planted on the highway. 326Power coilovers give this sedan the static stance enthusiasts love, and offer a firmer ride over stock while eliminating excess suspension travel. After replacing the front tension arms and rear knuckle bushings, and installing new front upper and lower ball joints, this saloon passed state inspection with flying colors. The power steering is direct and easy to maneuver, and after a fresh resurfacing of the rotors, the ABS brakes stop this transporter on a dime. The WEDS alloys are wrapped in brand new rubber, and to make the most of all our good reconditioning, a fresh four-wheel alignment was performed so you can drive straight to your next cruise-in or car show!
