The interior is spacious and stylized, spec'd with the special Mont Blanc leather seats. The interior is in above average shape and the dashboard lacks any cracking or facing. Dual SRS airbags are standard and the automatic climate control system is close by and at hand. Below is a Bluetooth equipped Pioneer head unit that filters tunes through the cabin. The leather is in above average shape and the middle row swivels to face the rear. The headliner, door cards and carpet are in good shape although we did want to note the rear row is missing. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column and electric windows, door locks and mirrors. These all work aside from the power folding function of the side mirrors. The side glass pops out for additional ventilation and rear A/C and heat controls make for a comfortable passenger experience. Entry to the rear is easy thanks to a wide opening sliding door. A retractable side step drops out to aid entry and the door itself soft-closes to prevent the battery from draining. All in all the condition is impressive and even a set of prized OEM floor mats are included in the purchase. Under the bonnet is one of Mitsubishi's best engines. The 4M40 turbodiesel is fresh off an oil and filter service and churns to life with the twist of the key. A new fuel filter was installed, like all of our diesels, and the 4M runs rights as rain. Two new 12v batteries aid ignition and the 2.8L runs like a champ. Its linked to a stout automatic gearbox. Power can be fed to the rear wheels or all four depending on the driver's preference and even a center locker is equipped. The suspension is soft yet predictable and the brakes are capable of slowing down this big old Delica. The power steering is light yet on point and the van goes right where you point it. The snow tires have lots of tread and the brakes feel confident and tidy. The frame has corrosion as noted in the photos, and will not pass VA state safety inspection as-is. Still, she runs, drives, and putts down the road with ease, and would be the perfect project van or farmland hauler for whoever's lucky enough to be the first stateside owner!
