The 44k miles on the clock sweeten the deal even more, and set this Aristo far apart from your average Lexus. Ideal as daily commuter, road trip raconteur, or garage queen, this low mileage Toyota is a certified Japanese Classic, inside and out! The interior is plush, well appointed, and finished in a grey leather upholstery that we seldom see on Japanese units. The condition of the cowhides is good, save for a few light stress marks, and the headliner, carpets, and soft-touch dash vinyl are all in fine shape overall. Designed with safety in mind, front and side SRS airbags give your forward occupants some peace of mind, and the driver can power tilt and telescope the steering wheel to create a natural piloting position. The center stack is accented by walnut wood trim, and boasts controls for the OEM audio and automatic climate control. Both work as expected, with the latter doling out cold A/C and hot heat on request. Unlike most vehicles from the 90’s, the dash has resisted cracks, fading, or UV distortion, and the same can be said for the door cards. The rear bench is spacious, as is the trunk, and you can easily fit a whole family’s worth of luggage in this luxury sedan. The headliner is tidy, as are the carpets. Save for some wear to the center console lid, it’s really hard to find anything to scrutinize on this well cared for cabin. Even the original owner’s manual has been retained! Under the hood, the 2JZ-GE needs little to no introduction. The drivetrain nearly matches our stateside GS300’s to a T, making parts and service a snap. It cranks over with haste, thanks to a new 12v battery, and an oil and filter service was performed to get you on track for future maintenance schedules. With a brand new timing belt and water pump job performed here in the shop, we’ve got you covered for the next 10 years or 100,000 miles, and we installed a new front main seal and new camshaft seals while we were in there. Any pesky oil leaks have been mitigated, care of a new oil pan seal and valve cover gaskets, and we chucked in six new spark plugs for good measure. This GE now feels healthy as can be, and the Aristo can handle city and highway cruising without breaking a sweat. An automatic gearbox shifts smoothly through the tree, and power is sent straight to the rear wheels. The suspension was rehabbed with new struts all the way around, and the front caster arms and front lower ball joints were replaced to pass Virginia’s state safety inspection. The power steering is light and easy to maneuver, and we installed new front rotors and pads to bolster your brakes. The factory chrome alloys are wrapped in brand new tires, and after a fresh four wheel alignment, you’ll be set to pound pavement in this Aristo for tens of thousands of miles to come!
