Description

This 1998 JB33W is a versatile little vehicle, and with a 1.3l engine, it can hang with the big boys on the trails, or cruise on the highway with other commuters! Good things often come in small packages, and when it comes to 4×4 vehicles, the Suzuki Jimny exemplifies that statement. This 1998 JB33W is a versatile little vehicle, and with a 1.3l engine, it can hang with the big boys on the trails, or cruise on the highway with other commuters! It also looks good in factory form, with new Zircon Sand Metallic (48T) paintwork, OEM rainguards, and a rear-mounted factory spare. The 75k miles on th

e clock are verified and documented too, and this bulletproof Jimny is barely broken in. It’s unique, eye-catching, and spacious enough to run errands and shuttle about passengers. In other words, this highly capable Suzuki is a real gem, and should certainly be considered a Japanese Classic! The interior is cool, quirky, and packed with all the power equipment and extras needed to make daily driving a walk in the park. It’s fashioned in a durable gray cloth, and both front and rear rows have surprising amounts of head and legroom, to suit pilots and passengers of all shapes and sizes. The upholstery is in good condition, and shows no discernable defects. This cabin also has modern safety features and creature comforts like dual SRS airbags, and a simple to use climate control system that doles out cold A/C and hot heat on demand. The adjacent Pioneer headunit has given up the ghost over time, but a replacement is an easy enough swap if you want to pump in your own tunes. If you need natural ventilation out on the trails, both power windows work on command, and a factory keyless entry system assists power locking and unlocking. The rear bench is surprisingly spacious and can fold flat to expand the cargo hold if needed. The door cards are clean, and the headliner has resisted any typical nicks and stains that plague trucks of this vintage. Overall, it’s clear this interior was well cared for in a prior life, and if the next owner can live with a bit of steering wheel wear and a flattened driver’s side seat bolster, we think the cabin will suit future adventurers nicely! We even included the original owner’s manual Under the skin this Jimny is a real deal, rough-and-tumble SUV. Built atop a body on frame platform, this Suzuki can withstand loads of abuse and can go just about anywhere. The G13B engine is one tough cookie and shares oodles of parts with stateside Suzukis, making servicing a snap. A fresh oil and filter service was performed, and the 1.3L runs like a top and pulls hard to redline, thanks to a new engine air filter. Torque is funneled through a stout automatic gearbox that shifts smoothly. The driver can select between 2WD or 4WD and a low range is also available to keep you chugging forward when traction is low. The suspension can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse, and the brakes are in tip-top shape, as we installed new pads and rotors up front. The power steering is light yet on point and the factory wheels are wrapped in brand new all season rubber. Fresh off a four wheel alignment at the shop, this tiny off-roader is an absolute beast, and is ready to trudge forward over any surface for miles and miles to come!
