A new timing belt and water pump should last for another ten years and we also flushed the coolant and installed a new thermostat. The inline six pulls hard to redline and sends power through a stout automatic gearbox to the rear wheels. It shifts as it should and gets up to highway speeds lickety split! It also stops on a dime, care of new front and rear brake pads and rotors. The suspension feels confident with new front caster arms, and this chassis handles large and small potholes alike without breaking a sweat, The brakes are grabby and grip comes from four new tires mounted and balanced at each corner, after installing new inner and outer tie rods and a fresh alignment, this touring sedan is ripe and ready to pound pavement, and should be good for miles and miles of steadfast Toyota reliability!
