The exterior of this truck is highlight by the brilliant blue factory paint from Toyota, with color code 8E3. The only exterior modification of note is the front Tow/Bash bar that is straight from Toyota, and bolted up to the chassis for reinforcement. 15 inch wheels with hub locks connect you to the road, and add to the ride quality and durability of the vehicle thanks to a tall side wall. A set of Rain guards are a nice touch, and they are still in great condition.
The Interior of this Hilux is the same story as the exterior. The cloth interior with matching factory cloth mats have virtually no wear, and are in excellent condition. The floor mats have seen some use, but have cleaned up very nicely. The seats are in above average condition, with no tears or damage to the bolsters or seams, and they are very comfortable. These older Hilux’ feature manual windows that still function without a hitch. The only notable modification to this truck is the aftermarket Carrozzeria DEH-P700 head Unit. All touch points like steering wheels and shift knobs are still in superb condition, and the dash trim doesn’t have any cracks or notable fading.
It could be argued that the heart of any truck is its engine and drivetrain, and with Toyota’s tried and true 2L-TE Turbo Diesel Engine and 4WD this truck is built to endure. The Automatic transmission saves the drivetrain from any undue stress considering it can avoid operator error better than its manual counterpart. The 4 speed automatic is also considerably more rare to find these days, and makes owning and driving this truck that much more convenient and easy!
