and 17′′ Legzas Moderno alloys wrapped in new tires. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scrapes, the Super Black (KH3) paint is in fine shape. Fresh off a recent service, this runabout is offered with a mere 65k verified and documented miles on the clock. Ideal as a unique and practical daily driver to ferry the kids around, this hauler would also make for a cool Cars & Coffee cruiser or a magnificent marketing machine for your company. Affordable and useful, this nifty Nissan is a Japanese Classic that your friends and family will be able to enjoy with you! The cabin looks modern, is plenty spacious, and comes with loads of electric options. Unlike many JDM minivans, this Serena includes two sliding doors for easy loading of people and cargo. Even better, they both soft-close shut when left ajar, to prevent your battery from draining through the dome light. The sloped hood and low-lying dash promote top-tier exterior visibility. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and dual SRS airbags are standard. The black leather seats steal the show and add an upscale feel. The middle row slides fore and aft, and both seat backs also split-fold. That’s not all, folks, as they fold into a sleeping surface, too! The cowhides lack any major rips, stains, or tears and were clearly cared for in a prior life. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column, and functional power folding mirrors, electric locks, and power windows make daily use more enjoyable. The center stack is close by and within arm’s reach. A simple to use digital automatic climate control pipes cold A/C and piping hot heat through the cabin upon request. Above, a touchscreen Clarion headunit is on hand to drown out the kids or supplement your road trip. The headliner and door cards are in good shape, and the carpets have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse. Even the OEM carpet floor liners are included with the purchase. This new generation Serena switched it up, going from rear drive architecture to front drive. This improves traction in inclement weather, such as snow, and clears out more space in the cabin for activities. Power is derived from Nissan’s legendary SR20DE. This dual overhead cam mill is easy to find parts for, and churns to life immediately courtesy of a new 12v battery. It sounds fantastic thanks to a free-flowing FGK exhaust, which matches to overall aesthetic of this Rider edition. Fresh off an oil and filter service, we also replaced the engine air filter so that the four-banger could breathe freely. To ensure the fuel atomizes properly, we installed a set of new spark plugs, and one of our trained techs repaired a small oil leak by installing a new distributor oil seal. The 2.0L is linked to an automatic gearbox that makes good use of the SR’s powerband. It hustles up to highway speeds without breaking a sweat, and standard ABS brakes slow this Nissan down with confidence. The power steering is light and on point, and the suspension can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse and offers enough ground clearance that you don’t have to worry about your classy aero getting buggered up. New rear shocks were installed to improve the ride quality. Grip comes from four new all-season tires that were mounted and balanced here at the shop. Freshly aligned, this van tracks straight as an arrow, and the new rubber quells road noise nicely and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
