The Toyota Soarer Aerocabin (Z20 chassis) is one of the rarest and most unique JDM vehicles, featuring an innovative power-retractable hardtop. Because it was limited to an exclusive production run of just 500 units for the 1989 model year, it remains a highly sought-after collector’s item. This rare example is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Powered by the legendary 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six 7M-GTE, producing 232 to 240 ho

rsepower. At the press of a switch, the power-operated metal roof and rear window retract into the trunk area. Unlike the standard Soarer, the Aerocabin is a strict two-seater. The rear seats were removed by Toyota to accommodate the roof mechanism and replaced with lockable storage compartments. It also features the iconic 1980s futuristic digital gauge cluster. All 500 examples originally came finished in a Crystal Pearl white color with Beige Metallic lower body cladding. This particular example is in good overall condition, runs and drives great.
