The grille is a sport-oriented mesh rather than the formal chrome bars of the Royal Saloon. The instrument cluster is Athlete-specific with a different dial layout. The interior materials and trim details differ throughout. The steering wheel has shift buttons for manual gear selection, which the Royal Saloon does not have. The suspension tuning is firmer. The whole car sits and drives differently. And then there is the estate body. The rear seats recline and fold flat, something the Crown sedan cannot do. Air purifier in the rear. Premium sound system. Roof rack. Swing vents that work.
