1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV – Low Miles – Built / Project Potential

Up for sale is my 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR with just 97,000 original miles. This is a clean example of a classic AWD turbo Evo with strong bones and a lot of potential for the right buyer.

The car runs and is a great platform for someone looking to get into an Evo IV without paying collector-level pricing.

Highlights:
• Evo IV GSR (power options, more street-friendly than RS)
• 97k original miles (low for age)
• 4G63 turbo AWD drivetrain
• Carbon fiber hood, trunk, and spoiler
• Aftermarket Apple CarPlay head unit installed
• Upgraded double plate clutch (great for higher power builds)

Condition (being fully transparent):
• Surface rust present in areas (rear passenger door and undercarriage)
• Dent near rear brake light
• Front bumper has a chip
• Carbon fiber hood has scratches and some cracking
• AC/heat currently not working
• Rear passenger window does not roll down

The car is mostly stock, with a few tasteful upgrades for performance, sound, and aesthetics. Modifications include a carbon fiber hood and wing, upgraded air intake, aftermarket intercooler piping, exhaust system, heat plate, and a front strut bar. Nothing overdone—just simple, functional enhancements that keep the car true to its roots.

This is not a perfect show car — it’s a solid enthusiast car or project with a lot of upside. With some cosmetic and minor mechanical work, this could easily be taken to the next level or enjoyed as-is.

Clean title in hand.

Serious buyers only. If you know Evos, you know what this is.
