The Nissan Silvia is one of the most iconic cars to ever come out of Japan. The K’s models were the top model offered in Japan with a turbocharged engine and many options not available on the Q’s and A’s models. This 1989 K’s model just arrived to our showroom and has just 42k original miles! The exterior a quite a few period correct modifications that really make this Silvia look the part. The color is Midnight Blue Pearl (TH1) and is in beautiful condition! There are virtually no exterior blemishes to be found, the body is very straight showing no major dings or dents. There are a few minor door dings from use over the years, but are very minimal. This Silvia also has the very rare OEM optional front aero bumper which is nearly impossible to find unmodified. This one has all of the vents and lights in tact and has not been modified. These bumper look fantastic, and it’s easy to see why they are so desirable. The very rare Greddy rear wing also looks the part and gives this Silvia a nice aggressive touch at the rear of the car. Completing the exterior look are a set of 15″ Work Ewing III wheels and an impossible to find original Tanabe Medallion catback exhaust which is in extremely good condition considering its age. Overall the exterior is extremely clean with killer period correct looks!
The desirable black interior is also in excellent well cared for condition. The door panels are in excellent condition with no rips or tears and very clean. The seats also show very minimal wear and are in excellent condition. The dash is clean but does have several cracks which is unfortunately extremely common on S13’s. The carpet is in great condition with no major stains and no tears or rips. The ultra cool factory floor mats are also included in the trunk. The trunk has all of the panels in places and all are in good condition.
The CA18DET engine starts quickly and runs fantastic. Maintenance seems to be completely up to date with the timing belt and water pump having been replaced ~1000 miles ago. Acceleration puts a smile on your face and there is very minimal boost lag thanks to the T25 turbo. Shifts through the 5 speed transmission are smooth and the transmission does not grind. The clutch engages properly and shows no signs of slipping. Overall a fantastic example of a very clean S13, this one won’t disappoint!
