On its way from Japan this, 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX STI is scheduled to arrive mid may

23,139 Original Miles

The Subaru Impreza was a sedan made for the Japanese people. Reliable and built for all weather conditions with its robust AWD. The WRX versions brought new performance options with factory tuned turbo chargers and stronger transmissions. The absolute Hight of performance came when Subaru Tecnica International badge was placed on a sedan starting in 1992. From then on STI became a household name. With every edition; every slight change, the vehicles got faster.

In 2000 the Second generation began, the first complete change. A new body from front to back, headlights to taillights. The chassis was also different, wider and longer. This was all to make room for a new engine and transmission.

The EJ207 Turbocharged 2.0liter created a 280 HP with 275FTlbs of torque. Mated to that was one of Subaru’s strongest 6 speed transmissions. This was still 3 years before the USA would ever get a STI.

The EJ207 Turbo is still one of the enthusiasts favorite engines, know for fast revving -great power.

This 2001 model is a super original with very low miles. The White paint is bright and contrasts the bronze wheels perfectly. Factory option fog light covers are still on the vehicle.

The front and rear seats are black with Blue inserts. The Red STI embroidery is pristine.
