Engine and performance
The legendary sequential twin-turbo 13B-REW rotary engine is in excellent
running condition, pulling strong through both turbo stages.
A compression test was recently performed March 2025 by a rotary specialist and shows healthy numbers across all rotors (see photo).
The turbo system is working as it should, delivering the signature boost from around 4,000 RPM.
The engine has always been topped off with high-quality, mineral-based oil, as is proper for a rotary.
The car has a few subtle performance upgrades, a RE-Super G exhaust, an aluminum radiator and vented hood to address heat issues.
