This 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado KZJ78 is a right-hand-drive example that was imported to the US in December 2021. The truck is powered by a 3.0L 1KZ-TE turbodiesel inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes manually locking front hubs, LED driving lights, running boards, a left-side fender mirror, air conditioning, a Sony touchscreen head unit, and side-folding third-row seats. Work under current ownership includes removing the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system as well as installing a backup camera, a keyless entry system, vinyl seat covers, Old Man Emu shocks, and 16″ Black Rhino wheels. This 70-Series Prado shows 134k kilometers (~83k miles) and is offered with importation documents, a Japanese-language owner’s manual, and a clean Washington State title.
The truck is finished in black with contrasting lower bodywork, wheel arches, and Prado graphics. Equipment includes a left-side fender mirror, a seven-pin trailer harness, a receiver hitch, running boards, and LED driving lights with yellow lenses. There is a scratch on the front bumper.
Black Rhino 16″ wheels are wrapped with 265/75 Wild Country Trail 4SX tires, and a spare 15″ alloy wheel with a Goodyear tire is mounted to the rear cargo door. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and stopping power is provided by front and rear disc brakes. The truck rides on Old Man Emu shocks, installed in June 2022.
The right-hand-drive cabin features three rows of seats trimmed in gray cloth with patterned inserts, and the front bucket seats and split folding second-row bench wear aftermarket vinyl covers. Additional equipment includes air conditioning as well as an aftermarket backup camera, keyless entry system, and Sony touchscreen head unit.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 170-km/h speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 136k kilometers (~84k miles), approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.0L 1KZ-TE turbodiesel inline-four features electronic throttle control and has been modified with the installation of an exhaust gas pyrometer and the removal of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system. Batteries and oil were recently changed. The timing belt was changed at 100,000 kilometers.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A CURT Manufacturing seven-pin trailer wiring connector was installed under current ownership.
