Clean Colorado title in hand.
129k KM/ +/- 81k Miles
Runs and drives absolutely perfect
Has several years of inspection records.
A/C is functional but could use a hit of refrigerant to be ice cold again.
Factory dual battery so it will start even in very cold conditions.
4×4 systems all work perfectly
20-23 mpg
By no means the best looking Pajero, this is a perfectly running and driving 4×4 ready to put in years of work as a trail rig. The 4M40 engine runs perfect and they are known for being able to put in some serious miles (my previous L400 Delica has 470k km on it and counting!). It is also a timing chain engine so no timing belt drama. Adjustable stiffness suspension works as it should. These are mechanical injection diesels and they do tend to belch some black smoke when you go full throttle on one. This being my 3rd 4M40 I’ve discovered this to be normal of them. Power folding mirrors do not function. Cannot stress enough how well this truck runs, tracks dead straight and very smooth, will cruise highways speeds with no problem at all. Its specialty however is when you get off pavement. The short wheelbase gives it a notably Jeep-like feel to it. The diesel engine compared to my gasser Montero is superior in all aspects, it pulls uphill in lower rpm ranges much nicer, and its engine braking effect going downhill is much stronger than that of the gasser.
Underside has light surface rust, the glaring defect is the A-Pillar on driver side does have corrosion on it. It does not leak into the car, but it certainly is not pretty. Price is set to reflect this but I am also willing and able to negotiate for a quick sale.
