With such an abundance of trucks in the U.S. in the 90’s, Toyota decided to save their legendary Hilux Truck for themselves and some neighboring countries. Built to last and ready to take on any challenge thrown at them, there’s a reason these Hilux trucks are still so desirable. The exterior of this truck is an eye catcher with Toyota’s OEM “3K3” Red paint. A Beige Bed cover complements the vehicle nicely, and protects the bed from wind and the elements. The only other exterior modification of note is the front Tow/Bash bar with a Warn Industries Winch. 15 inch wheels with hub locks connect you to the road, and add to the ride quality and durability of the vehicle thanks to the tall side wall of some Bridgestone tires. A set of Rain guards are a nice touch, with the only imperfection being a cracked driver side one. Some OEM running boards make hopping in and out a breeze, and add to the curb appeal of this unique truck. This Hilux even features some OEM graphics that are still in pretty good condition, save for a bit of flaking on the driver side graphic.

The Interior of this Hilux is still in great condition and the cloth seats are very comfortable. Some minor tearing can be noted on the driver entryway bolster, but nothing that affects the quality of the seat or positioning. The All-Weather floor mats have seen some use, but have cleaned up very nicely. These older Hilux’ feature manual windows that still function without a hitch. The only notable modification on the inside of the cab is the aftermarket Carrozzeria KEH-8150 head Unit. All touch points like steering wheels and shift knobs are still in superb condition, and the dash trim doesn’t have any cracks or notable fading.

It could be argued that the heart of any truck is its engine and drivetrain, and with Toyota’s tried and true 3L 2.8 Liter Diesel engine and 4WD, this truck is built to endure. The Manual 5-speed transmission is a nice touch for a more engaging drive! With 175,744 kilometers on the odometer which translates to a very respectable 109,202 miles, this hilux has got plenty of life left to give!
